Job Description: PART-TIME Metro Vandalia Campus Worship leader
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role will be responsible for leading worship twice a month, facilitating rehearsals on scheduled weekends, and providing care and support to our team of volunteer musicians and vocalists. The ideal candidate will have a heart for worship, some musical background, and the ability to inspire and lead others in a collaborative environment.

PAY: The hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00, depending on experience, with an expected commitment of approximately 10 hours per week.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Leadership and Development
- Keep open dialogue with Team Leads and Volunteers to provide care, leadership development, and spiritual development.
- Lead consistent worship rehearsals on scheduled weekends
Assimilation
Recruitment
- Assist in recruitment efforts by having conversations with congregation and team members on scheduled weekends.
- Communicate any leads to Staff uplink to follow up with.
Administration
Organization
- Communicate any needed details up and down the communication chain.
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized on stage, backstage, and booth areas.
- Ensure shut down of systems prior to leaving from weekend services and events.
Large Group Experience
Worship
- Leading worship on scheduled weekends
Creative Execution
- Collaborating and making sure all in service creative elements are effective and providing feedback on the engagement of each element to Staff Uplink
- Help to facilitate events at campus (Fall-a-Palooza, Christmas, Easter, Kickoff, etc.)
- Ensure accurate execution of the planned weekend service experience.
Vandalia Connections
Vandalia Community
- Look for and step into opportunities to engage with the VAN Community during scheduled weekends. (i.e. after service lunches, connecting with area leaders, checking out local stores, etc.)
Weekend Services
- Be present and engaged with Metro VAN campus during scheduled weekends.
- Step into other areas of ministry to show support during scheduled weekends
- Check ins by text and/or calls with volunteers once a month
- Be early and stay late to connect with volunteers and the campus community.
